Almost all of my work history is split down the middle between my time doing web & print, and my time as a CAD drafter. At times I was a fusion of both, which I enjoyed the most.
I have lived in the PNW for almost 3 decades, but I’m originally from Texas. My daughter and my husband’s 2 adult children are all Washington grown. My husband grew up in Indiana.
When I’m not attending clubs and activities my daughter belongs to, we are probably out running errands or going to church in the car that my daughter can stream her favorite Spotify playlists in.
We steal as much time as we can with our older two despite everyone’s busy schedules.
These 28 years working in the Puget Sound have been colorful and interesting. Having worked for a healthcare company and in the engineering field has broadened my adaptability to different professional environments. I find science and engineering fascinating, and I love to bring the ideas of great minds to the forefront through the use of maps, infographics, posters and presentations. My favorite part is when I can provide the mode of communication between the academic individual(s) and their audience.
